Astrology works (and if it works) is the subject of a lot of arguments
but my experience of over 30 years is that it does help you to
understand who and where you are - a form of cosmic GPS if you like -
and lets you look at things from a new perspective. Whether you
are fatalist and
trying to see what is 'predetermined' or some shade of determinist and
seeking to understand what it is about you and the world that has
brought you to this point (and what you might to do to change
things) then it is a very useful tool. You could spend years
studying Philosophy - and that is the alternative - but it is better to

I often take out some
creased and faded sheets of paper which are the birth chart and
analysis I set out for my son well over 20 years ago when he was born -
no pc then, all crafted by hand. It is quite remarkable how accurate it
is and - no - he has never read it.
Whether you choose to give a Zodiac Childchart to
the child or his parents is, of course, up to you but it's a
great gift and the chart looks neat framed on the wall or printed on T
